MediaTek recently unveiled its latest flagship processor, featuring an up-to-date Cortex-X2 925 CPU, Immortalis-G9 525 GPU, and eighth-generation NPU 890.
The Vivo X200 Professional and its miniature variant, the X200 Professional Mini, are expected to pioneer the market as the first devices to harness the power of the cutting-edge processor, thereby securing their positions atop the performance ranking charts in AI-Benchmark’s testing arena.
The X200 Professional has achieved an impressive 10,132-factor rating, placing it at the top of the list, while its mini counterpart, the X200 Professional Mini, scores 10,095 factors, ranking it a close second. The new telephones deliver a substantial upgrade over their predecessors, the vivo X100 and X100 Professional, which utilized the outdated Dimensity 9300 processor.
While the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered device comes closest, ranking ninth in the list, the Galaxy S24 Extreme’s distant position is notable. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro with its Apple A17 Pro chip settles for an eleventh-place finish. The Xiaomi Poco X2 Professional previously achieved a record-breaking score of 3,007,853 points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
New hands-on images of the X200 Mini Professional emerge, offering another glimpse into its design. The smallest member of the X200 sequence features a compact flat display screen expected to debut at approximately 6.31 inches.
The device features a 120Hz LTPO OLED display and is equipped with a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor from Sony (LYT-818), an additional 50-megapixel telephoto camera featuring periscope lenses, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera provided by Samsung (JN1). The device is reported to feature a substantial 5,700mAh battery that supports rapid replenishment via 90W wired charging or 30W wireless charging.
