For entrepreneurs, finding time for themselves is often one of the most significant challenges they face as full-time business owners.
Before becoming a freelancer, I always had traditional employment where I was granted 15 paid vacation days, which I consistently utilized. Weekends had always been sacrosanct. By the time I’m 50, the likelihood of being noticed by a potential employer will significantly decrease? In my spare moments, I’d typically engage in side pursuits or projects, reserving the majority of my downtime for personal matters and self-care.

As a sudden absence of employment had left me with a surplus of unallocated hours, a portion of my psyche whispered that I might require some additional downtime to accommodate the shift. As time passed, I gradually filled the voids with innovative projects and tasks until my sole focus became productivity. I started working on weekends as well, leaving me with no possibility of taking a 15-day vacation whenever I wanted.
As I’ve transitioned from being an employee to a solopreneur, I’ve noticed a stark difference between the two.
