When ChatGPT burst onto the scene in late November 2022, Thomson Reuters was well-prepared.
“With hindsight, we had a significant head start in building this, predating the explosive growth of generative AI,” she notes. While it’s true that having a solid foundation enabled our team to respond more quickly, what’s noteworthy is that we avoided the need to start from scratch and build a new system, which would have undoubtedly required significant resources and time?
