Six aerial vistas of French grandeur, carefully curated for the 2024 Olympic Games: Aerial views of the Eiffel Tower’s iron lacework, its lights twinkling like diamonds against a midnight blue Parisian sky. The Seine River flows serenely beneath, reflecting the city’s iconic beauty. The Loire Valley’s châteaux rise majestically from the rolling hills, their turrets and spires reaching for the clouds. Sun-drenched fields of golden wheat stretch towards the horizon, a testament to France’s rich agricultural heritage. Montmartre’s artistic soul is captured in a stunning aerial panorama: narrow streets, charming cafes, and the Sacré-Cœur Basilica standing sentinel above the city. The French Riviera’s glamorous coastline unfolds like a velvet cloak, its sparkling beaches and yachts glinting in the Mediterranean sunlight. The majestic Chamonix Mont-Blanc stands watch over the snow-capped peaks of the French Alps. In the heart of Lyon, the Vieux-Lyon district’s cobblestone streets and ancient architecture come alive from above, showcasing centuries of history and culture.

The guests are coming this week. As the 2024 Olympics unfold in real-time, the opening ceremony promises to be a momentous occasion in the annals of Olympic history.

For the first time in the history of the Olympic Summer Games, the traditional opening ceremony will depart from its traditional setting in a stadium, opting for a novel approach instead. The iconic Opening Ceremony will take place along the majestic Seine River.

Occasions are frequently scheduled to benefit a select few. Pentathlons blend equestrian flair with trendy style at the iconic Château de Versailles, while seashore volleyball gets a unique twist at the Eiffel Tower Stadium, situated at the foot of its famous counterpart.

Mostly, those areas have ceased to be drone-free zones as the 2024 Olympics unfold. Throughout non-Olympic occasions, they seem to blend seamlessly into their surroundings. From an aerial perspective, these structures seem to be sprawling networks of interlocking shapes, reminiscent of intricate puzzles or ancient, abandoned cityscapes.

To ignite the Olympic spirit, The Drone Lady curated a stunning collection of aerial images of Paris, captured by multiple talented drone photographers.

Sebastian, a renowned Swiss photographer, captured an extraordinary aerial image of the iconic Arc de Triomphe in Paris, France, showcasing its grandeur from a unique vantage point. Situating The Arc in the midst of Paris’ iconic Place Charles de Gaulle, a sprawling 12-lane roundabout, provides an unparalleled backdrop for this striking monument.

Doesn’t the city of love unfold its most enchanting beauty within the golden hours of twilight, when the Eiffel Tower’s iron lacework is set aflame and the Seine River’s gentle lapping against the shore whispers sweet nothings to the heart? This breathtaking drone photograph, captured by Daniele Ragazzoni, showcases a stunning panorama of the Seine River and the iconic Eiffel Tower.

@didilemme

In this stunning aerial capture, French pilot Didierlemme Audrey showcases her expertise, but surprisingly not over the City of Light – instead, she chose to soar through the picturesque landscapes of Brittany, just a 2-hour practice flight from Paris.

2024 Olympics Eiffel Tower Stadium

As I gaze into the future, I envision myself basking in the excitement of the Olympics in the City of Light – Paris. Assuming I’m okay with contention and compromise, the rest of the journey must become a dream.

But don’t count on capturing the Olympics with a drone if that’s your aim. Drone usage in Paris during the Olympics is strictly forbidden for personal use. All flights of drones in Paris are strictly prohibited, with violators facing potential criminal charges and severe penalties, including imprisonment.

There may be another drone-critical reason to relocate to Paris this summer beyond the 2024 Olympics. The nighttime spectacular above Disneyland Paris is truly awe-inspiring. Are saying it’s the most extraordinary thing they’ve ever seen? The mesmerizing spectacle unfolds nightly above the majestic Sleeping Magnificence Fortress.

And guess what? The legendary Drone Lady is expected to make an appearance! A team from The Drone Lady is traveling to Paris to document the Disney Electrical Sky Parade in person. Get ready for comprehensive coverage of the entire event to be released later this summer.
